How do I create a Group?

To create a yahoo group -how can i enable others to join the group? no join this group button on home page??

• I have clicked on promote and followed advice to copy and paste, copy ok but won't paste onto the group page. could it be that i am already a member of flowershows? Is the button on a page that visitors would see?? The group won't be much good without members, any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

  On your group's homepage the "join this group" button would show up for the visitors considering joining your group. There's a second option in the "promote" section where when it is pasted to your personal web page will show a box for typing the person's e-mail address in with a "subscribe" button sitting next to it. As for how to get more members, you can also post a link to the group in your e-mail program's signature line and then if you belong to some other groups post the information in the signature line if the owners of the group allow for it. If you know of specific people that would be interested in your group you can go to "Invite" on the group homepage and send out invites to them.
