Can you Shop Online at Amazon if you live in Australia?

  • I want to start shopping online at Amazon.com but I live in Australia. I cant find Amazon.com.au or a proper Amazon Australia store and many of the things that I find on Amazon.com it tells me I cant ship to Australia. Is there an easy solution?

    You can shop online at either Amazon in the US or Amazon in the UK however not all items can be shipped to Australia. At the UK store you can only ship Books, DVD's and Blu-ray discs to Australia although there is a FREE super saving shipping to Australia at the moment. Also many items have 20% VAT on them so when you checkout and enter your Australian address the VAT is removed so you are saving off the list price.. The US store ships a lot more things to Australia like toys, clothing, shoes, electronics, kitchen and garden items. Not all of their entire range can be shipped to Australia and you will have to pay for shipping but the prices are amazing and you can save heaps.. Be careful though US power is 110v and not everything can handle our 240v and then you cant use those items in Australia. Also shoe sizes and clothing sizes are different so you need to convert them. Here are two Australian Amazon affiliate stores for Amazon.. http://glennbatten.com/amazon/ for the US store and http://glennbatten.com/amazon-uk/ for the UK store. You only view and select the items on these sites and when you checkout and then purchase you are transferred to the relevant Amazon store for your security. They both list only those items you can ship to Australia which makes finding stuff to import into Australia much easier.
