Whats paypal australia anti-money laundering receiving limit?

i received aus$1200 on paypal for an ebay item and now my paypal is limited. the email from paypal said i recieved over the anti-money laundering limit so they need to see my i.d and limited my account. anyway my question is what is the amount i can receive by paypal australia until they limit it with anti-money laundering law? i have searched in google and everywhere and cannot find the amount. i found in uk u can recieve 1,000gbp before it being limited for anti money laundering and US i think it was US$5,000 but the australian one i cannot find the exact amount?? ANYONE KNOW?

Hello Glen, Ring PayPal and ask them. Ask them why they consider that payment as they have. The reason they might have come to that conclusion is that the payment you received was abnormally higher than other payments you have received, or that it did go over a predetermined threshold. Only PayPal can advise you about your account. Ring them and demand to know the answer.
