• Good Day! I'm visiting australia in a couple of days. I was just wondering, where's the best place/shop to buy a laptop/tablet or any electronic gadget? i'll be visiting Sydney and Gold coast! cheers =D

  Just the main electronic stores, preferably the larger ones so if you have an issue you can easily go back to complain, fix or refund. Many of the main ones include: Dick Smith. Harvey Norman. Bing Lee. (Though I've heard it's a tad expensive now..not sure) JB HI FI. Officeworks. BUT, Before you go hunting in these stores, should you be stingy with your money.. (this part is optional of course ;) 1. Look around one, store, any store, and if you happen to come a cross a laptop, say for example LAPTOP 123AB (just a fake example ;), keep it in mind. Of course thats what if you KNOW what your looking for, otherwise just ask the shop assistants to give you advice on the best bargain laptops well worth their price, whichever suits you. 2. Go to all of the 5 major stores mentioned above, (you don't have to go to ALL of them, but at least two) as the more places you browse, they all have various bargains, deals, offers, and specials with different price ranges. 3. You happen to find the cheapest deal in all 5 stores LAPTOP 123AB happens to be $400 dollars. 4. Now if you can, ASK FOR A BARGAIN. Officeworks' slogan is If you find a price cheaper, we will beat it by 5%", or others that could be , "Lowest price GUARATEED" Just be like, hey I saw this laptop in ______ for $400, you think you could match the price or make it even lower? ;) ;) 5. This SHOULD work, if they won't give you the discount don't buy it, the customer should always come first and major retails HATE to lose a customer. 6. Enjoy your laptop!
