Home-Based Cake Decorating in New Zealand?

I'm a soon-to-be mum and I am very interested in Home-Based cake decorating. I live in Wellington and I am wondering if there are any other people who do this for a living or for extra cash who could maybe mentor me and/or just answer a few questions that I have. I have a business plan, however I can't find much information on the internet on how to start up in New Zealand and how to create the perfect cake and decorations.

Just go through the directories to find cake decorators. You will find some of them started off working from home. Depending where you want to be - chose one with this in mind. If you want to start off slowly and eventually grow bigger, chose a mentor that is big now. They will be able to give you the best tips, i.e. the don't do's. If you just want to work from home, then find one that has been doing this for a long time from home. It's quicker if you just ring around and talk to the ones you can find. They will either be able to assist or point you in the right direction. How exciting for you :)
