How can i get a paper route job in Sydney, Australia?

Hey I'm 16 soon, and I'm wondering, in detail, how can I get a job as a paper boy? (i.e. what will I need? how do i ask? is the pay reasonable?) Otherwise, what are some alternative jobs?

call your newspaper ask if they are hiring people for a paper route, call all your local newspapers and see if they can schedule interviews, if they don't have any positions you're out of luck I had a paper route for a bit, but I couldn't keep it up because of the hours (like, 2:00-3:30 AM) but it was good pay
