How to become real estate agent in perth ?

  • Hi, im currently living overseas and not a australian pr. However im thinking to become a real estate agent in perth, is it possible with work permit ? or does it need to be an PR or citizen ? Also, what are the requirements to be a real estate agent in perth ? in singapore, u just need to pass the course and a singapore pr. thats it, then u can sell. I heard that u need to wait 2 years to become an agent in perth ? thats pretty long time Whats the difference between real estate sales person and re agent ? thanks so much for your help :) rudy

sales person , and real estate agent is the same thing .. you will need to get work at an agency , don't worry they will let anyone in , you get paid by commission only , or maybe 30% of a wage . the current outlook for the real estate market is pretty bleak here in WA , you will need a agents licence , and work under a Principal .. real estate isn't as exiting as you may of been told . but good luck with it , I wouldn't do it again , nor would I suggest you do either , but it isup to you
