  Well you have to have an account to do either or. Go to the website and create an account. Once you do that you can bid on an auction. Most sellers prefer Paypal as a method of payment. You can create a Paypal account using a credit card as the method to make payment by or you can have it taken out of your bank account or you can put money in your Paypal account to pay for items. Depending on the seller you can pay by money order, cashier or personal check. Not too many want personal checks because it takes longer for them to clear and that delays you getting your item. Paypal payment clears much quicker. Paypal has this thingy now where you can pay for anything online, not just ebay purchases. ANYTHING!
