Anglo irish bank question?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?????…
-
I have some shares in Anglo Irish bank worth 7 to 9 thousand Euro but since the recession I have not got any monthly letters and there is no info on the prices of shares.I know that the government kind of own it now.But what i want to know is will the shares ever come back or Are they LOST FOR EVER..........

Answer:
I'm afraid so, they are gone. When they were nationalised it was a penny share company so your investment would have been worth nothing. Under corporate governance rules the share holder is ultimately responsibly for the performance for the company so when the company goes bust the shareholder is the last person to receive any compensation when the assets are liquidated.
