Does voluntary work experience count in India?

I have India's work experience and now I am live in UK. I want to work here. I am looking for customer service?

But I am not getting calls from any of the employer even if i submit my application. So I want to know why am i not getting the replies is it becoz i dont have UK's exp or the employers are not satisfied with my application.

  All the customer service jobs have been relocated to India! It's probably your lack of UK experience that is preventing you from getting an interview. Indian customer service tends not to have a very good reputation in the UK due to the dreadful Asian call centres that many companies use to keep costs down. Very few of them train their staff well and the standard of English is very often very, very poor. I had an Asian call centre employee insist that there was no such place as York in the UK once! It may be worth while to get a UK professional to look at your CV for you to see if you are presenting it in the best possible way.
