    I like Sainsburys. The colour scheme is warm and nice (well compared to the others anyway.) They also have a good range of products, especially tropical fruits and vegetables. The customer service is good; for example, the cashiers usually offer to help pack the customers bags. Bad customer service: Co-op. My local one always has a long queue and not enough staff.

In the area where I live, my choice is between Asda & Tesco. I mostly go with Asda because they are noticeably cheaper. Tesco has a better range of products to choose from, but the range at Asda is good enough considering the money I save. Whenever I have had to go to the customer service people because of a mistake on my receipt (special offer not applie or whatever), then I have always been refunded at least the difference (and sometimes more) with no quibbles.

The Co-Operative stores because they act with far more social responsibility than all the other greedy lot (and return a proportion of any profits to shoppers). They also stock a lot of local and fairtrade products at reasonable prices.
