    Food-wise I prefer Sainsburys. It has good quality food, and an excellent selection. However, being a university student without a car I have to go to whichever supermarket the nearest bus takes me to, which is my case, happens to be Asda. I have found it to be surprisingly good: it has a decent selection of food (and a wonderful selection of what it so charmingly calls "world foods"), it is enormous, and the service is wonderful. Almost every week I have to ask for help finding certain foods, and they are nearly always helpful and friendly. The checkout staff are also extremely friendly, and always ask if you want help packing your bags. That is my idea of good service.

It has to be Asda. I like Sainsburys as their sell by dates are usually alot better than anywhere else but it is more expensive. When I shop online at Asda it is easy and straight forward adn if they do get something wrong then they will refund me for that item - the staff are always very helpful in store as well. I really don't rate Tesco though I won't shop there at all.

No frills for the economical choice. Sansbury for the more exotic choice. Good customer service is when you needed help they are there for you, FOC Bad customer service is about the rude staff behaviour
