  • Answer:

When You Are 13 Or Younger . . . You can deliver newspapers. You can work as a baby-sitter. You can work as an actor or performer in motion pictures, television, theater or radio. You can work in a business solely owned or operated by your parents. You can work on a farm owned or operated by your parents. However, parents are prohibited from employing their children in manufacturing, mining, or any other occupation declared hazardous by the Secretary of Labor. When You Turn 14 . . . You also can work in an: office, grocery store, retail store, restaurant, cinema, sports facility, amusement park You generally may not work in: communications or public utilities jobs, construction or repair jobs, driving a motor vehicle or helping a driver, manufacturing and mining occupations, power-driven machinery or hoisting apparatus other than typical office machines, processing occupations, public messenger jobs, transporting of persons or property, workrooms where products are manufactured, mined or processed, or warehousing and storage. Hope i helped, Jake

well it all depends on what you want to do, from your other question im guessing your passion is make-up. why not try to get a job in somewhere related to that? as far as im aware there are no legal restrictions apart from the normal in that area. Jake Also seems to have a long list of places you can and can't work if you have no luck in that area. Best of Luck!!

Maybe something like a the paper-round? that was my first job, it's not great pay but every little helps :). Or maybe you could ask the neighbours to walk thier dog on a regular basis for a little cash, there aren't a lot of jobs out there for your age group it's very limited. My younger sister who is 14 does chores around the home to earn herself a little money. Goodluck :) x

Paper round is a good start, i would also suggest asking neighbours, people your parents know, if they have any odd jobs you can do , like tidy up the back yard or clean the car, and again ask your parents so it will be ok (good luck) and have a great christmas.
