Can anyone tell me the address of the train station in London where I can buy a ticket for Oxford?

I found this website where one can buy a train ticket from London to Oxford, the problem is the address of the train station is not specified. How do I find out where to take the train from? http://www.thetrainline.com/buytickets/?href=ppcg_london-oxford&WT.srch=1&WT.mc_ev=click&gclid=CJnI-dTah6cCFUENfAod2HOOdQ also... which airport (Gatwick, Lutton, or Stanstead) would be closest to this station and how much time should I allow myself to get to the station from the airport? 10 points right away for the most complete answer!

Answer:
The station you would need is London Paddington. When looking for the station, click on the 'Times and Tickets' button and a list of the next trains will appear. At the top is then PAD for Paddington. As for the airport, surely it depends on where your eventual destination is as to which is the better one. From Paddington to Luton is approximately 1 hour 18 with 2 changes - tube to Farringdon and then train to Luton. From Paddington to Gatwick is just under an hour - tube to Farringdon and then train to Gatwick From Paddington to Stanstead - approximately 1 hr 20 -tube to Liverpool Street and then train to Stanstead.

Part 1 of answer : London paddington does direct services to Oxford (I assume you mean the university town, not Manchester Oxford). It takes about an hour. Gatwick, heathrow, just choose the cheaper flight would be my advice. And as for internet sites for train tickets, www.nationalrail.co.uk is the only one I'd ever use as it's the only 'official' one. Hope you love our beautiful country.

Choices :- 1 Fly to Gatwick, train from Gatwick to Reading, change trains, train from Reading to Oxford. 2 Fly to Heathrow, bus from Heathrow to Reading, train as above to Oxford 3 Fly to Luton, bus to Luton station, train to London St.Pancras, tube St.Pancras to Paddington, train Paddington to Oxford. 4 Fly to Stanstead, train Stanstead to London Liverpool Street, tube Liverpool Street to Paddington, train as above to Oxford. Heathrow is the nearest to Oxford, Stanstead the furthest, Gatwick and Luton about equal.
