How long does it take to open a Natwest Current account?

I Am 15 And I Want To Open A Bank Account With NatWest But Wont They Take My Money?

  • Dont They All Do That. I Mean Dont All Bank Companies Take Money Each Time You Put Money In E.G. If I Put 100 Pounds In They Take 25 Pounds Am i Wrong?

  • Answer:

Sometimes banks do take money from your account, for example because you took more money out of your account than you had in there (overdraft penalty fee). But I think you will not be able to open a bank account with overdraft facility, so you should be safe. Also, for some accounts the bank will charge you a certain amount of money per year for providing you a certain service. Again, I don't think this applies to you. As long as you put more money in than you take out, and as long as you have a "free bank account", the bank will not take any money. Maybe one of your parents/providers can help you open a bank account, if you are not allowed to open one (yet). Happy banking!
