What jobs are available to 14 year olds in Crouch-End, London?

  • I really want a job so I can earn some of my own money instead of always taking my parents! What jobs can i do around my area that are suitable for my age, but not like babysitting/paper rounds/car washing please! Thanks :)

    The other ones you don't want to know about - seriously. I would tell your parents the above which is commendable - you want to grow up, take responsibility, and get independence. Ask them if they can ask their friends or work colleagues if they have any odd jobs going. You're 14 and that is an age you still need to be kept an eye on while you get to the age where you can legally work. Reason: you don't realise how much people are prepared to take advantage of your age. Good luck!

Finding a job in London is not easy, it's harder when your only 14. Some advice would be to learn a new skill and become an expert at it. Then later on you can find some experience to use that skill and then gain some qualifications around that skill.
