What's it like to work at Starbucks?

Whats is it like to work on checksouts in a supermarket like sainsburys or tesco?

  Being a checkout cashier you dont have to deal with your coworkers as much. It is a better job than being a stocker. You dont have to talk to anyone except for the customers. You might get a lot of attitude from trashy people because they generally dont have any respect for anyone and they are just mad at the world. I still remember what it was like to work as a checkout cashier. I did this when I was younger and I remember this as being better than working with other people in the store. I didnt really want to interact with anyone at the supermarket because they were just trash. People that I just couldnt relate to. If you are a student and you dont see yourself socializing with the weird people that work as stockers or truck unloaders then being a checkout cashier is so much better as you hardly talk to anyone other than customers. Its much better than any other job at the supermarket because you just dont have to think. You scan the items and at most places you dont even have to say anything to the customer once. The machine tells the customer their total price and they pay, you put the money in, and repeat with the next customer, OVER AND OVER till your shift is over. Its a good job if work is not your life and you cant find any other source of income.
