How To Get A Job In London?

• Being a local Englishman, i'm finding it very hard to get a job in London. All the jobs i go for are taken by people on temporarily visa's. The employer's themselves are rarely from this country and will automatically go for people they relate to on a cultural basis. I graduated from a respectful university 6 month's ago with a 2:1 MBA in Business + Marketing. I thought this would create enough buzz around my name to be lucky enough to obtain a entry job in Marketing. This has not been the case and now my dream's of working in the country i have lived my entire life in has evaporated. I have now been forced to apply for job's abroad and have been getting more positive feedback. I find it very disheartening that i have to leave my homeland to get my chance to prove myself. America here i come :-( Any advice would be welcomed. I have done the whole remastered CV, excessive job applications and even gone to classes to prefect my interview techniques. I get the impression when i go for interviews that the people interviewing me are intimidated by my native ways. Which has mean't i have learned to speak french in order to be more applicable.

  the is the problem with some students, they never ever research whether the career they are studying has a huge amount of jobs available. perhaps you should look elsewhere and get some experience, most business's want experienced graduates, people who can do the job efficiently, graduates have to start from the bottom too, you will just have better prospects than the lesser man/women in the IT industry unless your the luckiest person alive, you wont get into London unless you have at least 2 years IT experience, not sure exactly what the marketing business is like on recruiting but its probably the same. you could always try contracting agencies in London, they can help you find work on a contract that usually lasts for 3 to 6 months and either leads to permanent or ends but its all experience until you can have the direct jobs i guess Good luck
