How do i advertise my company for free on search engines?

    You can use a thing called "safe lists" costs nothing however they have the right to send you ads as well....Be careful how many you use,,,,Your mailbox will be bombarded, I promise you....This is one answer, I don't really recommend it. Have used it with poor results, however go to a site called Alta-vista. There you will find tons of info on all kinds of lists to buy. Remember you only get the results you want from what you pay for. Hope this helps.

There is a company like yell.com called infoserve.if you use search engines to find a business they come out pretty much number 1/........It is absolutly free to be listed on their site however i would pay the 200 quid if i was you and they would move you up the list and give a direct link to your site.....go check it out www.infoserve.com

What you are looking for is called SEO "search engine optimization" - it is a skill only a few web designers have mastered. You might use yahoo - search on the phrase "search engine optimization" and the best companies at it will be in the first few at the top. - (in the numbered listings - not the paid for ads in blue all the way at the top or on the side) - You can try it yourself if you know html or use one of the top companies listed. Also, realize that it is a continuing effort, not a one time shot, as other companies are continually trying to get to the top of the list. Good luck
