Know of any job agencies that will get you a contract job in UK?

• My husband and I are thinking of moving from Australia to London for a year. He wants to get a contract Business Analyst job. Do you know of any good job agencies that can actually get you a job before you move, not once you're there? We can't afford to go unless he already has a job to go to. One agency said they would interview him when he gets there but we can't take the risk of him not getting a job. Have you had any good experiences with job agencies and getting jobs overseas? Thank you

  Unless he can get transferred over by his current employer in Australia it's not going to happen. All any agency can do is introduce you to employers, but you still always have to interview with the actual employer before being offered any sort of job. His best bet would be to plan a trip to the UK for a week or two, see how many interviews he can get, see if he gets an offer, then fly home and wait for the employer to file their sponsorship papers for him to get a visa
