£35,000 per year in London, (Battersea) Will this cover comfortable living expenses?

Yes it will. You could live in Zone 3 or 4 and travel in. You could get a room in a shared house and you will have enough money to experience the London lifestyle.

It depends of your "level". If you own a sport car, have a Rolex, buy your clothes @ Selfridges, have a cleaner, go often to restaurants, have some charly and are a member of Soho House, you´r probably gonna be short.

I think that'd do nicely - provided you're single and don't join the party circuit. Battersea isn't one of the best places to live, but you could do worse in the city.
