Is it easy to find a part time job in London?

I'm a 16 year old living in London and I'm looking for a part time job - where can I find one?

  • Most need experience and it's hard to get experience when they won't give you a job due to lack of experience. I've tried loads of websites such as totaljobs.com and they've not worked out for me. Can you suggest anything? Ideally I'd like to work Saturdays with the possibility of an evening here and there - during school holidays I'm more than happy to work more often. Thanks :)

Have you thought about dog walking? Loads of people in London have dogs and live in flats, many work most days. If you start with neighbours and friends you could build up quite a job for yourself once people know you are reliable. Other than that you could try dish washing for a small hotel or restaurant. hi there, i'm from london too n I feel the same way. I'm looking for part time work too and I think its easier to get one if you apply via gumtree. Gumtree has jobs from london and also it has separate sections like weekends, part times, etc.

print out some CV's go round the shops handing them out. you need to be patient, for their reply.
