Best way to advertise my business?

I have been searching hard recently for the same thing. I came across a website that looks fairly good on the deal so I added my website url to their pages for my area. They seem new but I like what I'm seeing so I think it is worth the try. Seemed a good price after it was explained how it works. I'm now going to get a lot of adverts for my website. Not sure if they allow people to add things that are not website based but I presume you have a website about your service...maybe. You'll need to ask them.

Well pubs, local shops like Co-op and others have notice boards that you can put them up in and just local businesses that you think a lot of women will go into, schools for the Christmas dance period would be a good idea too!

You can use a lot more resources to promote your business such as putting a local classified ad online on some free websites. Submit it to directory listings in town which are free and also online. Send out emails and have them passed on to as many people as possible. Get multiple mailing lists and contact people about your new business!! You are off to a good start. In awhile you will be flooded with responses and the rest is in your hands!

Hello KL Following my own experience i believe that google ad words can really make a difference.Its very cheap,and you can target and filter the areas that you want your ad to appear,when someone searches for your service,your ad appears on the top positions on google.com I also tried leaflets,i did a5 leaflets and drop them on the letter boxes.don't be ashamed,put your business shirt on and a hat and go dropping the flyer's,you will be amazed at the feedback,and maybe you can get new costumers on the spot and do some public relations.Don't waste your marketing material on your friends and family,they already know your in business,market yourself to new costumers. I also did local radio and newspaper,with prize draw and the lot,but it was rubbish,and the most expensive ads i did. But i think that for the resources you have available,you should just print and divide A4 paper into 4 and print at home your own leaflets,and go door drop,Your friends and family should help you on this bit. Do the nails locally of someone influential for FREE ,if your job is ok you get free advertising from that person and hopefully to other influential people around her. The lady at the till on the local pub or shop,or post office lady,they talk a lot to the general public.
