Have you been demoted from your position at your current job?

I got passed over twice for a promotion am i wasting my time at my job should i look for another job?

• i was passed over for a promotion they gave it to a co-worker who had less experience than i do anyway after 2 months they saw she was not right for the position and demoted her another girl was hired on our shift and they offered the position to her passing me over once again should i look for another job when i asked why i did not get the position they told me they have to do whats right for the company i am not sure what that means?

  Speak to your supervisors and ask them for specifics as to what you are doing or not doing that makes you an unsuitable fit for the position. Maybe they can give you some feedback so you can decide if you want to continue working for this company. BUT in this economy I would be very cautious about leaving a (somewhat) secure position for the unknown, right now jobs are very hard to come by and there are many unemployed people vying for any job that comes up. So if I were in your position at this point in time then no I would not look for another job unless the situation becomes something you can no longer handle. Hopefully you can get some constructive feedback from your supervisor and proceed from there.
