How Do You Cancel Membership From Premier Passport?

How to get out gym membership contracts when u didn't give them ur debit or credit card numbers?

  • Hi I had signed a contract with premier fitness play zone and I had cancelled the contract on the phone .I remember cancelling it on paper but have no proof of it Now they r asking me to pay for entire year and even when I agreed to pay for year they r not willing to cancel my membership contract they r saying U come in person at the end of the year we will cancel it then which is bizarre when I am paying them upfront so my question is is there some place I can lodge a complaint against them My only fear is they r threatening to ruin my credit history so is it possible to ruin my credit history even though I haven't given them neither my credit card or debit card info thanks in advance

    One call to the Consumer Protections Department should put them in their place. I had to cancel my plan because of joint replacement surgery they tried to screw me over and I fixed their cookie. Consumer & Corporate Affairs will deal with them for you. Good luck

Gyms are horrible about getting out of contracts. I finally ended up biting the bullet and ended up taking the hit on my credit report. I was a golds gym member when I enlisted in the army and attempted to cancel the last 12 months of my contract for over 6 months even using my 1 call a week for several weeks during basic trying to cancel yet they continued to bill me and refused to cancel it because I didn't have sufficient "proof" i had moved too far away from a golds gym which at the time was a far from reasonable 100 miles, who the hell is going to drive 100 miles to go to the gym. In the end I don't think it ever got reported but I know for about a year they were trying to collect over $1000 I refused to pay on a contract and collection fees over a contract I had every right to cancel and get out of.
