Boxing Day in Canada Sales?

• Hi Im new in Canada and I wanna know how much are all the sales in the boxing day , example if something costs 120 dollars how much is going to be on the boxing day? THANXs :)

  At one time, Boxing Day sales could be pretty good. Assuming stores were open, which they often weren't, as it is a holiday in most provinces (if not all). However, it is also where they get rid of the junk they could not sell before Christmas. Things they ordered too much of, or stuff that people simply did not want, and they have an overstock of. Some places, usually electronic stores, with have big mark downs on a few items, but this is also just to get people into the stores where they will buy lots of other stiff. There are few real bargains out there, but it can happen. If Christmas sales are slow this year (which they appear to be from what I have heard), the sales might be more realistic. However, from my experience, they are not really worth it. Enjoy your Boxing Day - the prices are usually in force for a week or so anyway, the famous "Boxing Week Sale."
