Legal question about my web project?

• Professionally i am web designer. I generally give MONEY BACK guarantee if client wants during project and doesn't like the work. one client is pain in neck..i gave him offer in Sept: 2009 and he accepted that after that eventually he looses interest in it. and i have done almost 80% of his work. in last 2 year because he never send me enough material to work on it and sleep for 2 years. Now he is asking me for money back. i replied him about it that i have done most of the work the work never done because of his lack of interest NOW he is threatening me fir the legal action I have to mention here that the total project cost was 2500 only and he paid me around 1500 my question is what kind of legal action he can take? because now he comes to war and using word that he should not use being good citizen and men. i decided that not to give him money back right now. please answer my question what kind of legal action he can take here?

  it depends on what your contract agreement stated; was there an end-time agreed upon? no freelancer i've ever heard of have a money back guarantee... did you put it in writting?! you should speak to a lawyer for advice... the client will have to take you to small claims court...
