Where in Toronto can I rent a horse-drawn carriage?

• My friends and I want rent a horse-drawn carriage to take us to a party that we are attending. Where can we rent one for a reasonable price? It needs to be able to carry around 7 people. Thank you!

  As a person who rides a horse through the city, let me say bravo to you and your friends. Horses are "green" transportation, powerful, and helpful especially when you're trying to haul large materials from Home Depot. She's hardly fast for a horse, but built like a brick, and nto aprticularly quiet, though the neighbours don't mind (we live in a Victorian-styled neighbourhood, and they liked the classic looks of the place, so they enjoy the Victorian era sounds!) I don't know any specific places which can service all of your needs, however I can offer the names of a few places who service Toronto with horse drawn carriages. They typically do this for weddings, but I'm sure they'll appreciate the business. Just a tip: Princess Cupcakes really loves it when we give her sugar cubes, carrots, and apples - they love sweet vegetables. Just make sure the driver is alright with that first, and you shouldn't have any troubles.
