Ontario Minimum Wage?

Alright so the minimum wage went up on march 31st but i have a paycheck comminng today for the weekend before that took place and this weekend right now. Will all the hours be applied with the new minumum wage or will the hours from last weekend be the old minimim wage and the hours from this weekend the new minimum wage?

Ok, so As soon as it hit march 31, that was when the minimum wage went up. If u started working on march 31, or the day after, then the new minimum wage would apply. If you worked BEFORE the increase, then no, you will not get the wage increase.

What will happen is all the hours worked prior to March 31 will be the old wage and all the Hours worked after March 31 will be of the new wage. You might see two separate wages on your paycheck. If you don't see any new wage for hours after March 31 then I would talk to your boss ... they have no choice but to pay you the new wage.
