What are good jobs that are in demand?

What are jobs in Canada that are currently in demand?

  • I know there's a recession but I browsed online a bit and everyone has also been telling me that caregiving/healthcare is hugely in demand in Canada currently (several of my friends are taking caregiving courses to work overseas in Canada). I decided to ask here to get opinions from you guys who actually live in Canada. Is housekeeping in demand? What about other jobs?

    housekeeping not so much but cleaning service yes, But also depends where in Canada such as Alberta . I know few people living down there and they are doing great with cleaning service company. Other jobs include accountant, construction, Marketing, HR, management. hope that helps.

Lets be honest, being a "caregiver " is not a good job, and in Canada, only immigrants are willing to work for such low income. The most that they are going to earn is about 9 or 10 dollars a hour. McDonald's pays 8 dollars an hour, to flip burgers, so you decide if that is a good job, or not ? To me it is a menial job, with no future, at all. A registered nurse, who has been through a 4 year nursing course, at a University is going to get Big Money, but that takes time, and money , and superior intelligence, to achieve . As for being a "house keeper " that is another job that is just above being a slave in Canada. It would seem that you don't have any type of advanced education, or specific training to be able to get a good job in Canada. That is what Canada is looking for. We have enough people with no skills, so I can't see how you are going to be able to qualify to be accepted by our Government as a immigrant. Jim B. Toronto.
