What kind of summer jobs would hire a 14 year old female?

  • Hi, I'm 14, and I really want a summer job this summer , I live outside town, so it would take about 10 minutes to drive in to any stores, or places. I've considered working at the movie theatre, library, or helping out at the nursing homes / hospitals. I don't really want to baby/pet sit, or mow lawns, things like that. Just a real summer job . So, what kinds of jobs could a 14 year old do over the summer? Thanks ! :)

    work at an ice cream parlor scooping ice cream...kind of outside so you can enjoy the summer weather plus usually can get little bit of tips for some extra money

um i think mcdonalds tim hortons or summer camps they always need leaders plus its super fun

babysitting is probably your best bet. IM not sure what the legal age to work is anymore but your probably to young to get on anywhere. But check out the legal age to work in your state.

You could clean people's houses. Spread the word around that you are available. Charge ten dollars an hour.
