Anyone know of any good restaurants in Newquay Cornwall ?

im going to Newquay for a surf holiday so staying on cliff rd in Newquay for 8 days and was wondering if anyone knows any good restaurants there, iv checked out google and looks alot but does any know which are the best :) many thanks :)

Sasparillo's, which is opposite WHSmith does excellent food. Good steaks, gourmet burgers and my favourite, slow roasted pork belly with acacia honey and Somerset Cider. The service is really nice too, and you get the feeling that everyone involved actually cares. Average main course price is around £12.

Are you looking for REALLY good restaurants - ir just good places to eat? Both Jamie Oliver & Rick Stein have excellent restaurants there (at least they did last time I went - no knowing what has happened in the current economic climate!) You are more or less guaranteed a good meal with one of them!
