Nottingham on sayurday night, where to go??

  • Hiya !! Me and my friends (all girls) are going to nottingham on saturday night, where are the best pubs/bars/nightclubs to go to? thanks XXX

  • Answer:

Well it all depends on your age and what kinda music you like really St James's street (ask for directions is unsure) - Up down under and Bla Bla bar, plays chart music, bit of RnB, Dance, Hip Hop Upper Parliament Street - Foxes (bit of everything including 70's/80's) Flares next door and Reflex just round the corner (proper cheese so avoid if you dont like that kinda music) On same road is Bar Circle - always gets busy and plays bit of bassline, RnB, Dance etc In and around Market Sqaure - Wetherspoons (always a good place to start, cheap and cheerful, no music though) Squares just up the road - always gets really busy and plays all the latest songs. Yates' - Bang in the middle of the square, also gets quite busy and plays up to date music Cornerhouse - Posher bars and wine bars, very safisticated and quite expensive, does have a revolution bar though which is cool, loads of different shots on the menu Lace Market - again very Posh, and up-market. There's Lloyds, Pitcher Piano, Ha Ha bar - all quite expensive CLUBS! Halo - attracts the young crowds as its cheap, it has an RnB room, dance room and chart music room Gatecrasher - Still closed i think after a fire next door Oceana - my personal fave, a bit expensive but has 8 different rooms including RnB/Hip Hop, Dance, 70's 80's etc Walkabout - cheap and cheerful playing a range of different music Rock City - Name says it all, dont forget your mosh moves Cookie Club - Plays indie, rock, bit of chart Hope you have fun, theres plenty of others so feel free to message me if you want more info xx

I wanna come! Go to The Pitcher and the Piano, it's a little out the way of the town so you may need to get a taxi but it's like no other bar, it's a refurbished church, drinks are quite expensive... it's basically a cocktail bar and it does look pretty amazing!! I think it's over 21's but not sure, i was pretty drunk when i went there. There's so many bars and pubs you could go to in and around the town centre, walkabout is good, last time i went we just wandered about and went in any place that took our fancy and 20 bars later we ended up in Gatecrasher! I thought i lost my glasses that night and was looking everywhere for them under tables and stuff... got back to the hotel and went to eat my food and the glasses fell off my head... good one! I'd definitley recommend Gatecrasher (not that i can remember much of it) but it's one of the biggest clubs in the UK and has a few different rooms with different music for all tastes!! Hope you have a good night!! xx Nottingham is a good place to go out, I'm arranging a night down there with mates at the end of August... should be good!!
