Best restaurant in Norwich?

Whats the best restaurant in the centre of Norwich?

  • Have to go there soon and need to pay back a debt.

  • Answer:

Ah so! is a Japanese restaurant on Prince of Wales Rd. It's fantastic! the food is delicious and they cook it on hot plates in front of you while putting on a show (eg catching eggs in their hats, and then throwing them in the air and letting them land on knives to break etc) extremely entertaining. Ask for the top floor for a more private show, where they do this for around 20 people. I've been there for several birthdays and leaving do's and we never had a bad meal there. I highly recommend them. They're near the top of the hill near Liquid etc.

Marco's is really good for Italian. I forget the name of the Thai restaurant, the little one near Tombland, that's good. There's loads of good places to eat in Norwich (if you are talking Norwich, Norfolk UK!) might be nice to let the person you owe pick? Have a good meal whatever you decide.

I enjoy "Pedros" the mexican (see weblink below). It looks slighlty bizarre/unusual, but it is fun (Mexican hats optional!) and I have NEVER had a bad meal there (5-6 visits over the years). Hope you enjoy!
