Can you recommend a good restaurant in the North West Uk?

we have a right bloody good one in oldham the ayce Xpress on king street its a Indian buffet you no stuff your face all you can eat gut buster and its from £5 to £10 depends when you go yummy yummy garlic chicken yummy

its not a restaurant but have yout tried a sarnie from subway in barrow-in-furness they are really nice and have 5 different breads to choose from and lots of fillers and salad stuff and there is table and chairs to sit down in there and they open till 10 most nights

we went to the old original on saddleworth moor up in oldham, its a small pub restaraunt and it was fantastic, english and excellent, it features as a prize on GMR's radio show on sunday morning with the "fat lads", it is well worth a drive up, it isn't fancy nouvelle or the like but homemade and well worth the trek up again

There's a place in Manchester City Centre (Behind Boots) called The Stock or is it just Stock?! (It's the old stock exchange) Anyway, the food in there is divine....REALLY well made. A bit pricey though, but nice for a treat :)

The Bangla Fusion at Hoole (between Southport and Penwortham). From traditional Asian to a great fusion menu if you want sophisticated food rather than blow a hole in your head curry (though they will do you one of those if you ask). It aint cheap but it is good.

My favourite restaurant is the royal toby in oldham, Mmmmmmmm.x
