Hi! Please help with some good and not so expensive Indian food restaurants neat by Fashion Street, London. I have info about Chutneys and Reema Batil House. Any others? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
Any restaurant on Brick Lane will serve pretty decent food, the two you mention are fine and cater for many people. Service can be a bit hit or miss. Restaurants there change very quickly, our favourite was City Spice, but now it has changed to the Shampan. I would suggest coming onto Brick Lane from Fashion Street, but then going to the Osbourne Street direction. Try Moonlight, small, friendly and a very good selection of bengali food, or The Clifton, large and more upmarket. The food here is also excellent.
