Where to buy Sugar Canes or Sugar Cane juicw in London?

  • Hi, I am looking for Sugar Canes or Sugar Cane to buy in London for making of mojitos. I live in N1 and assume that in one of the Caribbean communities/stores they would have something like that. Maybe Seven Sisters Road? Thanks

    If you don't have any luck in Seven Sisters you will certainly find Sugar Cane at Brixton Market Monday to Saturday. It is very near Brixton Tube. It is well worth the short journey if you haven't been before, amazing variety of fresh Afro-Caribbean and other produce. There is a link to the Wiki article that gives some details.

Try the black market in lewisham, haven't seen the juice but the canes are there, they don't taste the same over here tho, maybe because of all the traveling it does to get here and its cut early so it doest ripen enough.There is also a market in Catford that sells it there, just round the corner from the lewisham broadway theatre, got some ginip there not long ago as lovely!
