Club to go to for my 18th in London?

A good bar/club in central london for my 18th?

  • I'm late in the year so all my friends can come... I want to go somewhere a bit nice, maybe in central or east london, that's good to go to on a sunday. any ideas? no where tacky like in soho I wanna go somewhere a bit nicer

    Not sure it's still there, but there was a little basement place called Solange's right around the corner from Leicester Square tube station down an alley under a restaurant (Italian or French I think). It was open every day and late into the night. They had live music, great owners and staff and you could order food from the restaurant upstairs. Like I say, it may be gone now but one of my fondest memories of living in London. A mellow atmosphere that could still cut loose as the night wore on. More of a jazz club though.

If you can survive a room full of chavs then you might want to try Faces nightclub in Gants Hill,East. I have been trying to find a bar that will accept 18 year olds. But my problem is I'm in they year below you so I am one of the first of my friends to be 18 in a few months so everyone else is basically 17 still. But you have more chance getting into a club like Faces or NuBar in Wanstead I think it is. gd luck
