What can i do in london on a sat night?
-
Im going to london on 29th August, but don't arrive untill 3pm, I have a festival to go to on the Sunday then right back home on Monday, I was expecting to get to London a bit earlier than that and now feel that I wont make the most of my time there. So I want to make Sat night as special as can be for me and my partner..... Are there plenty of things to do that don't include clubbing or drinking (as we'll be doing that all day on Sunday anyway!) Sights to see and things to do? x Thanks in Advance

As one of the previous poster said too much to list. Vist London is a good site. You can also try http://www.timeout.com/london/ my favourite. lastminute.com and other sites sell theatre and meal packages, including comedy. Have fun.

Go on the london eye, its a massive ferris wheel on the bank of the Thames, its open into the night (I think around 9.30). You can book a champagne visit, to make it special. www.londoneye.com Then go for some Food, if you can catch the underground to the 02 stadium, which used to be the millenium stadium, (The Jubilee Line to North Greenwich ). There are loads of resteraunts there from cheap to V exclusive, a cinema, roller rink and loads of other things you will be spoilt for choice, I would then finish it off with a ferry ride back over the thames from the stadium and a few pints in a good pub.

Head over to tower hill station and walk over tower bridge, turn right off tower bridge and a few minutes walk along the river you'll come to the Scoop (an outdoor sunken amphitheater) where you can watch a free theater (shows at 6pm or 8pm). http://www.morelondon.co.uk/events_details.asp?ID=58 After that, continue walking along the river to the west and go for a romantic ride on the london eye after dark http://www.londoneye.com/
