What is the dress code for Gordon Ramsay at Claridges or Restaurant Gordon Ramsay?

It generally means smart casual...so jacket is generally required and not jeans, but no need to have a suit....I'm sure I don't have to tell you how to dress smart...Generally these restaurants are not as stuffy as you may think...I have eaten at Gordon Ramsays and the service is first class, and the food is out of this world....but take plenty of money or cards...its not cheap if you eat a la carte. save your money luv and dont go, you end up paying a fortune for something that looks pretty but would not fill a hamsters belly. for a real treat come up north and try harry ramsdens fish & chips, never mind what ramsay says about fat and cholesterol he only says its bad for you so gullible people will pay a lot for not a lot.

A jacket is a must for men at Gordan Ramsey. I have heard that they do have a couple of jackets at the restaurant for diners who forget to bring a jacket! Its more of a traditional thing as once in the restaurant your jacket will be taken from you anyway, or put on the back of your chair. It doesn't need to be a suit, smart trousers, shirt and blazer are also ok, just no jeans. As for yourself, just wear something smart and elegant. Its not pretentious in there so as long as you look good then you will feel and be fine.
