Where is your favourite place to eat in Glasgow's West End and why?

paperions its really nice it on byres road, it reasonably priced aswell. little itialy its more like a take away place tho is also really nice its on byres road aswell. theres also a few nice places down ashton lane. oran moar is also nice. and if ur looking for a pub lunch type of thing then whistlers mother on byres road is good for light things

Oooh, at the moment it has to be Cottiers, Hyndland Street in the West End. They have a great pre-theatre menu for £13.50 for 3 courses up til 7pm (I think). Otherwise they have an A-la-Carte. It's a great atmosphere in the restaurant, with gorgeous decor and lighting. As well as this there's a great pub with a coal fire, and often live music. It's very popular, but you can usually walk in for a meal if you are early enough, without booking. I would try it, it's lovely. Have fun.

Not Glasgow's West End but 15mins away if that can count? R34 Restaurant and Cafe: www.r34restaurant.com R34 is quite new and situated in the India of Inchinnan building. It's a gem and ideal for me as it's quite close to the airport. It has been reviewed by the Herald and the Sunday Herald and that's what led me to try it out. I am so glad I did as it is now a firm favourite.

I like Ruths fish and chips! But I don't know if TGI Fridays is in the west end, but if it is you should go because its AMAZING!
