In Toronto: Elephant and Castle is a nice affordable British style pub. Canoe is a high class, upscale restaurant. I highly recommend it. But the bill can easily come to $100 for two people. In my option it is worth every penny. The food is delicious and the service is always wonderful. Biff's Bistro is another nice place to go. Its a good spot for both lunch or dinner. O&B Canteen is a nice little cafe style place. They have a few tables to sit at but they can also do a "grab and go" style if preferred. Banth: Never been. Jasper: Never been. Vancouver: Cactus Club is very nice. It has a good atmosphere. And good food. Red Robin is a good place to get burgers if that's what you are in the mood for. Original Joe's Restaurant and Bar has good ribs. Earls is a good spot also. Sammy J. Peppers is a good place if you want spicy food. Any of the market stalls at Granville Island have tasty things that you can get for lunch. I highly recommend the soup place. Fresh soups made everyday. You MUST go to Lee's Doughnuts. It's in the market place in Granville Island. I have never had better doughnuts anywhere. Congratulations.

Spaghetti Factory is very popular. Even though it is upscale, the CN Tower revolving restaurant is a must for a honeymoon. You should also hit up the Danforth, there are a lot of very good Greek Restaurants there. For a soccer fan, the Football factory is great, but might start some fights if its not a shared interest. Other more high end restaurants are eleven, and Real Sports Bar, which are owned by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

I would recommend to try Sunset Grill at Queen Street East. It is a little diner like restaurant with a warm cosy feeling and quite reasonably priced meals. Nice little review: http://ilovetoronto.com/restaurant-reviews/2012/01/sunset-grill-restaurant-review
