    City-Girl must not be from around here, they closed up shop in Canada almost 10 years ago, I am a former chef and had 2 of the cooks work for me at a downtown hotel, and the parent company General Mills the cereal people just walked away, like the Outback Steakhouse chain they just felt they were not making enough money to handle the lease hold rents, and economic reasons did play apart, the closest to them is the East Side Mario's chain, I am not a fan, there food is bland and tasteless, but is your looking for a good home style Italian meal, then look at smaller non-chain places. When I go to Hamilton to meet up with some old friend there are over 50 smaller more authentic places, I like the Capri on John St N, down from the old Connaught hotel, and there are many more. I would check out the restaurant review pages and search under Hamilton, they can give you more guidance.

they closed down a LONG time ago. I still haven't been able to find a chain of Italian food close to it.

Yes, they are a franchise (chain) and they are everywhere...one near Burlington (very close to Hamiliton) and the QEW
