What are the working conditions for chefs working in South Australian pubs/restaurants?

  • Do you find these conditions to be fair/unfair? Why? Who decides on the working conditions for chefs and do the workers get a say? How often and how long are lunch breaks? Are meals provided during breaks or are you required to bring your own food? Do you have to work during public holidays or weekends? Which ones? If so, does this bother you?
