What Amp and head unit paired with this sub?

  • I got a 15" Kicker subwoofer and i'd like advice to which amplifier and head unit to pair with it. Sensitivity: 90.2 dB RMS Power Range : 250 Watts Peak Power Handling: 500 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohm Frequency Response: 25Hz - 500Hz Subwoofer Model No. 07C15-4 Part No. 07C15-4

    for amp the best you could probably get is a JL 500/1. and wire it at 4 ohms. but i wouldnt play it at max power cause the amps a little underrated. as for the head unit it doesnt really matter. its up to you. alpine makes good ones so does pioneer. and i like sony to.
