I need a high output alternator?

I have 4 boss cx120dc running to a 6000 watt power acoustic amp I need a good high output alternator... Any suggestions to put in a 1991 gmc Sierra 1500, also where shout I take it into to get it installed? Thanks

go to any aftermarket car parts sight like classic industries or any one that sells car auto parts go to any auto parts store and they can hook you up.you have to know how many amps you want.it may take a day or to but they will order it if they don't already have it.they must be a few auto parts stores near your home,there's to many were i live.hope this helps.

I think you can get away with just a good stinger capacitor...

That power acoustik amp is not giving you 6000 rms. Don't go through the trouble of a HO alt. Get a big battery in the back and call it a day.

You can install it yourself. Its very easy. Check summitracing.com they have alot of high output alternators. You can use a chevy high output alternator.
