How do I hook up dual subs?

How do I hook up the illuminite feature on my Dual boxed subs?

  • Is there an adapter I can buy or do I have to go into the 12VDC source in the ignition column? I would like to just buy an adapter that plugs right into the cigarrete lighter if possible. Any ideas? thanks

    First of all don't connect the wires to the speakers input, you will fry them, I think zack is retarded. Get an adapter that supplies the required power rating of the lights @ 12 volts.

They can be run from the remote turn on at your amplifier. Positive to the remote turn on input, negative to the ground input. They'll turn on and off with the amp.

Most auto parts stores would carry a cig lighter adapter, or worst case buy a cell phone charger or something cheap like that and cut the cig part off and split out the pos and neg wires.

Dude just put the wires in one of the speeker outputs.
