How to get double CDs out of a car CD player?

How to attach CD/iPod player to car?

  • I'm currently looking for cars, but my price range is quite low, so a lot of the cars that I've been looking at are somewhat old, quite a few not having CD players, just cassettes or radios. Besides getting a decent car for the money I pay (obviously important) I would like to have some kind of modern music player in it. If I were to get a car that doesn't have one, though, what are my options? Are there things you can plug into the car to adapt it for CDs and/or iPods?

  • Answer:

if you get a car with a casette player, then you can get a casette adapter that will allow you to hook up your ipod to the casette player. it looks just like a casette tape, with a 3.5mm cord coming out of it. you put that into the tape plaer, and hook up your ipod and start playing the tunes. if you get one without a radio, you can get one installed for free if you buy it from circuitcity at atleast 100 dollars.

Sounds like to me its time for a new head unit. I bought a 7" double-din that plays dvd's, tv, mp3, cd, sd card, and its a touch screen. Oh yeah and it has bluetooth all built in. I paid $299 shipped. I reccomend them to anyone. Here is the link www.car-audio-direct.com

no, you need to take off the old cassettes player to put the new cd player, if you buy the cd player for ur cars there will be a manual in it just read it and it tell u how to install it. And some cd player has IPods attack hole so you just put the Ipods in your cd player. if you need more help just go to car audio store and ask them i sure they will help you for free of charge.

You can get a new radio installed in, or you can ask your local car dealer for how to connect an iPod to the car.

Visit a local car audio shop...have the salesmen SHOW you what your options are...explain your concerns, needs, price range, etc...and go from there! For a little over $100 you can get a "decent" CD player that will connect to an iPod or even have Bluetooth Capability. Again, have the salesman SHOW you what they have...and, HOW it works!!! Good luck Jason
