What happens if i run 3- 12" 4-ohm subs off of a mono 2-ohm stable 2600 watt amp?
-
The amp is a Legacy LA2499 and the subs are Legacy LW1249; Please let me know if anyone has any ideas for a 1-OHM stable amp i can buy that is affordable and can give enough juice to the three subs

Answer:
haha, but sparky, we all know that legacy subs wont handle even their rated RMS power.... I remember my friend blowing his cheap legacy subs in high school with like 100 watts. Dude, please sell your stuff and get real equipment. Legacy is bottom of the barrel flea market quality, and their product it VERY unreliable. And def. do not run a legacy amp under its rated stable impedance.

The subs have a combined power handling of 1800 watts RMS so the amp needs to be 1800 watts RMS @ 1 ohm.
