What are the best quality speakers, or some pretty good quality speakers, for a car?

i would recommend kicker,polk audio, Memphis , clarion i would also recommend a aftermarket deck your car has 6x9 in the back and i believe 6 1/2 in the front i would look for 2 ways or even 3 ways on all 4 speakers

I say do your homework. Check out the car audio shops in ur area and listen to the different brand of speakers. It took me over a period of abt 5 years until I found the sound I wanted. I went through abt 3 different sets of speakers (components/separates). Sony, Boston Acoustics, and finally MB Quarts. It was a trial and error for me. Also not to mention the $$$ I spent to install then uninstall to install...I did this 3 times. In my "homework," each brand and series will sound different.... Brands I listened to and this is my personal results... Sony....??? (not sure, my first install) Kenwood...................Bright Crystal......................Bright and crisp Boston Acustics........Warm (sound like a avg home audio system) Morel........................Clean, clear, and crisp (to expensive) Rainbow....................(same as Morel) Boss Audio................Bright MB Quarts.................Clean, clear, and crisp (price good) I hope these sites below will help you..... Type “car audio systems” in the search engine. He gives a lot of very good info. If your headlight dims with the bass notes, the “BIG 3” might work. If not an H.O. alternator will be needed, or else be prepared to pour a lot of $$$ for batteries. Fusion,Pioneer,Kenwood,and JL make some great speakers.There's alot to choose from.Check out a car audio shop or Best Buy and listen to some demos.
